Job Overview:

We’re seeking a Senior Android Developer with strong expertise in Java and Kotlin to join a top-tier financial services client in Boston. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in mobile development, especially on Android platforms, and experience with automated testing frameworks such as Appium.

You’ll be responsible for designing, building, deploying, and maintaining next-gen mobile apps for internal business teams, with a focus on test-driven development (TDD), clean code practices, and high-performance delivery.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a Master’s in Software Engineering.

• 5–7+ years of Android development experience using Kotlin and/or Java.

• Proven experience with Appium or similar test automation frameworks.

• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX design and Android SDK.

• Experience in test-driven development (TDD).

• Proficiency with Git, Bitbucket, or GitHub for version control.

• Familiarity with mobile app features like biometrics, push notifications, and Camera APIs.

• Experience in CI/CD environments and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to Angular X, Microservices, and server-side/backend interaction.

• Hands-on experience with CI tools and automated unit testing.

• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and team collaboration skills.
