QA Assistant

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable QA Support Assistant to help our Quality Assurance department with general QA activities. This role is essential in supporting daily operations to maintain our food safety and quality standards. The position is ideal for someone with an interest in food safety, quality systems, or regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist in issuing Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for finished products.

· Update and maintain QA documentation, including forms, policies, and SOPs.

· Support raw material and packaging inspections as per QA protocols.

· Conduct finished product evaluations to ensure compliance with quality standards.

· Help track and organize QA records for audits and internal use.

· Communicate with relevant departments to follow up on quality-related issues or documentation.

· Assist with other QA-related tasks as assigned by the QA team.

Qualifications:

· Prior experience in a QA, food safety, or laboratory environment is an asset.

· Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.

· Familiarity with GMPs and food safety regulations is preferred.

· Ability to follow written procedures and work independently.

· Good written and verbal communication skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

· Bilingual (English/Spanish or other) is a plus.

Working Conditions:

· Office and production environment.
