PrideStaff Columbus East is looking for a qualified Office Manager/Bookkeeper who is interested in joining one of the fastest growing Real Estate companies in Columbus.
Role and Responsibilities:
Oversee the general accounting function for the operating company and bookkeeping of multiple flow through entities and investments. These functions include:
Quickbooks - updating monthly activity for operating company and partnerships
Reviewing monthly reports and bookkeeping from external partners and update partnership schedules to generate consolidated financials
Cash management and reporting - budgeting, bank reconciliation, expense payment and tracking, and financial reporting
Bi-weekly bill payment processing for all entities/partnerships and expense tracking
Year End tax prep, tax payments.
Will ensure the delivery of reliable, consistent, accurate and timely information to internal and external stakeholders, including preparing investor communication, reports, and cash calls
Communicate with external CPAs and attorneys and other professionals, as needed
Special reporting projects, as assigned
Evaluate and manage office overhead, bills and contracts (internet service, landline service, credit cards, cell phones, photocopy machine, IT support, etc.)
Evaluate and manage benefits (process and reporting of: payroll, PTO, health insurance, 401k)
Evaluate and manage commercial insurance package.
Daily record-keeping, organization, and filing of documents.
Greeting guests and answering phones (both reasonably infrequent)
Mail, courier and overnight package management
Office supplies tracking/reordering
Assist with travel plans
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook)
Proficiency in Quickbooks
Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and the ability to work autonomously
Knowledge of accounting principles
Previous bookkeeping experience, particularly in real estate, is a plusCompany Description
