A global manufacturer is seeking a strategic and hands-on HR leader to oversee all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compensation, policy development, and offboarding. This role requires the ability to work independently and collaboratively with HR operations and executive leadership, providing expert guidance while driving HR initiatives that align with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a standalone HR leadership role, demonstrating strong decision-making skills, a thorough understanding of HR operations, and the ability to develop and implement effective policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
Provide proactive, hands-on HR support to senior leadership and salaried professionals across various functions.
Serve as a strategic HR leader by identifying, developing, and implementing effective policies and procedures that align with organizational goals and enhance overall HR operations.
Oversee full cycle recruiting for all open roles, collaborating closely with third-party recruiters, Hiring Managers, and Executive Leadership to support informed hiring decisions.
Manage interview, screening, and offer processes, incorporating leadership feedback and communicating staffing needs clearly.
Process staffing requests and facilitate timely decisions from Hiring Managers and Department Leadership.
Coordinate all pre-employment tasks, including background checks, drug screens, and paperwork.
Ensure seamless onboarding by managing HR, IT, Safety, and department-specific training, and arranging equipment and system access.
Confirm accurate setup of new hires in benefits and financial systems.
Maintain accurate employee data across all HR platforms.
Partner with the Payroll Administrator to resolve discrepancies before payroll finalization. Serve as a back up to payroll processing
Lead annual performance review processes and guidelines, ensuring timely Supervisor check-ins.
Implement approved pay raises and serve as liaison for off-cycle increase requests.
Develop succession plans for critical roles and future leaders.
Manage and route employee change requests for appropriate review and approvals.
Communicate payroll-impacting updates to the Payroll Administrator and ensure timely system updates.
Support termination decisions and meetings in collaboration with Supervisors and Leadership.
Oversee all offboarding tasks, including system deactivation, final pay, and organizational chart updates.
Maintain an up-to-date, shared job description repository.
Draft and update job descriptions aligned with department workflows and finalize with Leadership input.
Requirements:
5+ years of progressive Human Resources Management experience
Proven experience in a standalone HR leadership role, managing all aspects of HR operations independently.
Bachelorâ s degree in human resources or a related field required; Professional HR Certification preferred
Spanish bilingual highly preferred
Proven success in leading and executing strategic initiatives
Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with executive and C-suite leadership
Experience with HRIS platforms and ability to learn new technical systems
