This individual will be based in Munster, IN and will primarily serve our customers in the Northwest Indiana markets.

WORK HOURS:

Lobby & Drive-Up

Monday – Friday: 8:15 AM – 5:15 PM

Saturday: 8:15 AM – 12:15 PM

Schedule will vary according to business needs. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including Saturday. Hours subject to change to meet business needs.

SUMMARY:

The Relationship Banker is responsible for enhancing customer relationships by providing excellent customer service while servicing all the customers’ financial needs. This position calls for individuals who have a passion for superior customer service and are enthusiastic and team oriented. In this dual role, the Relationship Banker will handle a variety of financial transactions and new account openings for individual and business clients. The Relationship Banker will look for opportunities that support the bank's strategy by engaging with customers to meet their financial needs and make referrals to business partners.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support relationship building efforts within the branch.

Contribute to overall branch operation.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION:

Required:

High School diploma or equivalent (GED)

One (1) year of job-related experience in a customer service, financial service, or sales role.

Preferred:

Banking experience.

Effective customer relationship building skills including ability to sell, cross-sell and refer products.

Basic knowledge of retail products, policy, procedures, documentation, and systems.

Proven customer service and interpersonal skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Salary Range:$17.00 To $22.00 Hourly
