Key Responsibilities
As a QA Manager, you will support the quality assurance, governance, and operational process management of IT systems within our Smart Factory operations. This role will play a critical part in maintaining process compliance, ensuring deployment quality, and improving system performance across manufacturing environments.
Program Quality Reviews
Perform quality review activities for new/modified program deployments in factory-based IT operating systems.
Scope: Check documentation completeness, validate test case usage and results, review source code quality and reusability.
Frequency: Conduct weekly regular reviews and ad hoc reviews depending on urgency or importance.
Additional Duties: Share weekly deployment lists with client stakeholders, lead the review and compilation of test cases, and manage test documentation.
Process Compliance Monitoring
Monitor compliance with IT processes in detail and request corrective actions for:
Missing approvals at different stages
Missing or incorrectly matched deliverables
Unreported monitoring results
Unprocessed performance results after monitoring
Analysis & Reporting
Conduct regular analysis and reporting on:
Deployment performance versus program registration across systems (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually)
Cases of process violations
Program handling rates per person (for workload assessment)
Project Methodology Support:
Define execution phases and required deliverables for operational projects
Develop, share, and guide the use of standardized templates
Quality Control by Project Phase:
Conduct quality control checks at each project phase, including:
Reviewing requirement definitions
Ensuring consistency across deliverables
Validating test results and verifying final outputs
️ Process Improvement
Lead or contribute to periodic improvements in IT operational processes, including efficiency efforts, idea proposals, and planning initiatives.
Governance & Training
Collaborate with HQ in governance meetings and consultations. Announce new or updated processes and deliver online/offline training to relevant personnel as needed.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum 6 years’ experience in Quality Assurance (QA), CMMI certification or related initiatives, Project Management Office (PMO), and IT process development or methodology implementation
Preferred Qualifications
Fluent in English or Korean
Experience working in software/program development (e.g., JAVA, C#)
Experience in planning, implementing, and managing automated testing
Skills & Competencies
Familiarity with Agile tools, team collaboration platforms, and CI/CD deployment environments
