Base pay range $201,136.00/yr - $219,771.00/yr Protegrity, a leader in data security, is seeking a skilled Application Architect with cloud experience to lead the design and implementation of cloud solutions.

This role involves high-impact projects, collaboration with talented teams, and strategic product development.

Responsibilities: Lead the design of secure, scalable architectures for data security products.

Define technical strategies and collaborate across teams for high-quality product development.

Provide guidance on technologies like Java, C, Python, ensuring alignment with architecture and product vision.

Integrate security best practices into architecture and development processes.

Work with product managers, engineering, DevOps, and QA to align goals and promote best practices.

Document architectural patterns, standards, and mentor teams.

Stay updated on emerging data security and cloud technologies, bringing innovative ideas.

Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

10+ years in software development and architecture, with cloud security focus.

At least 5+ years as an Application Architect in a product-based company.

Experience designing enterprise software using cloud technologies, with hands-on Linux experience.

Strong knowledge of data security, cryptography, secure coding, multi-threading, performance tuning.

Familiarity with OS architectures, security frameworks, encryption, SDLC, CI/CD, Terraform, Helm, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containers (Docker, Kubernetes), AWS EKS, ACLs.

Excellent leadership and communication skills, problem-solving ability, and experience in agile environments.
