Responsibilities:

Research, design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and distributed network software for significant distributed components in application infrastructures.

Create innovative features and enhance existing products to improve user experiences.

Tackle challenges of moderate complexity and be instrumental in the evolution of our systems.

Contribute code, advance the development of the systems powering our products, and build applications that serve billions of users globally.

Acquire a deep understanding of relevant product areas, their codebases, and systems to maximize impact.

Showcase your skills in data analysis, programming, and software engineering.

Produce high-quality code with comprehensive test coverage, utilizing modern frameworks and best practices.

Independently manage routine projects and tasks, effectively utilizing resources to overcome obstacles while consistently meeting deadlines.

Master our internal development standards to take on progressively complex tasks and projects.

Engage in the feedback process with transparency, aligned with our Performance Philosophy.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or related fields, along with two years of relevant work experience.

Two years of experience in programming languages including C, C++, C#, Python, Java, or Javascript.

Proficiency in Python, PHP, or Haskell.

Experience with relational databases and SQL.

Capability in building highly scalable and performant solutions.

Familiarity with distributed systems aspects such as sharding, consistency, and availability.

Knowledge of algorithms.

Compensation:

$230,698/year to $240,240/year + bonus + equity + benefits.
