Position Overview
The Engineering Lead is a pivotal role that involves leading a team of talented engineers. This position oversees the design, development, and implementation of innovative technology solutions for the Engineering Team, and managing, creating, planning, and organizing the daily activities. A strategic thinker with a strong technical background and exceptional leadership skills to drive project success and foster a collaborative, high-performance work environment. Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Management: Lead, and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to ensure team members achieve their full potential, while providing hands-on work as needed.
Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align project goals and resources.
Technical Expertise: Provide technical direction and expertise in the design, development, and implementation of engineering solutions. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the team leverages the best tools and practices.
Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance processes and standards to ensure the highest levels of product quality and reliability. Conduct regular reviews and audits to identify areas for improvement.
Resource Allocation: Manage resource allocation to optimize team productivity and project outcomes. Ensure the effective utilization of team members' skills and expertise to meet project objectives.
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including executives, clients, and team members, to provide project updates, address concerns, and ensure alignment on project goals and expectations.
Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure financial accountability. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement efficient project management practices.
Innovation and Improvement: Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering team. Encourage the exploration of new ideas, technologies, and methodologies to enhance project outcomes and drive business growth. Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
Experience: A minimum of 7 years of experience in engineering, with at least 3 years in a lead role preferred. Proven track record of successfully leading engineering teams and delivering complex projects.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in relevant engineering software, tools, and methodologies. Strong understanding of software development, hardware design, and system integration processes.
Leadership Abilities: Exceptional team lead skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members. Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Project Management: Strong project management skills, with experience in Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.

Work Relationship and Scope:
Reports to the Sr Vice President of Global Operations. Works closely and collaboratively with all other colleagues at FyterTech to accomplish established goals. Works daily with highly confidential business and employee information.

Working Conditions:
Work is performed within the normal FyterTech setting. Prolonged and frequent mental and visual concentration required. Periodic stressful situations in response to multiple priorities within established deadlines. Work hours are generally during normal business hours, as both scheduled and unscheduled work hours may arise. Must be able to bend, twist, turn and lift/move up to fifty pounds. Out-of-town/overnight business travel may be required. Serves as a representative of the organization at appropriate functions.
