About the job Salary: 60k-85k Prior Digital Media experience REQUIRED Prior YouTube experience STRONGLY PREFERRED We are seeking a Writer for a successful YouTube creator (Over 25 million Subscribers across 3 channels). The content for the videos is a mix of family-friendly challenge and narrative videos.

You will be working closely with a small team to create content, from ideation to final script delivery.

Must be a self-starter who can work efficiently with minimal oversight.

Looking for someone entrepreneurial who is excited to grow existing YouTube channels and new channels from the ground up.

Duties/Responsibilities: · Writing 1-2 scripts/outlines per week (~40 pages) · Pitching new video ideas/concepts/formats in weekly creative meetings · Conduct competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities in our niche · Active, opinionated participant in every conversation regarding channel creative · Incorporating notes from multiple different stakeholders to create the best video possible – including to accommodate production restraints or insights from retention analytics · Championing the creative vision in interactions with all departments throughout the production process · Writing for multiple channels Who You Are:Prior YouTube writing/ideation experience STRONGLY PREFERREDPassionate about YouTube contentBachelor’s Degree preferredOrganized, self-starter who never misses a deadlineClear communicator with the ability to work across different departmentsHolistic understanding of the YouTube space, specifically channels creating for a pre-teen audienceIn tune with pop culture and trending topicsAbility to implement notes and flexibility with last-minute script changes and pivotsStrong storytelling skills with the ability to find compelling storylines in non-narrative formats What YZ Productions Has To Offer:Competitive SalaryFull Health benefits after 90 Days$50 Gym Stipend after 90 Days
