Technical Consultant
**Overview of Job Function:**
Technical Consultant is primarily focused on building and maintaining environments used by our project teams and customers using Verint’s Engagement Management product suite in markets around the world
**Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:**
+ Install and configure Verint Engagement Management applications for our project teams.
+ Work with clients to create best technical environment for the implementations
+ Process re-engineering
+ Facilitate stakeholder meetings
+ Participate in technical workshops with Verint’s customers and project teams.
+ Take ownership of the technical issues that need to be resolved to ensure a successful customer delivery.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Six plus years of experience in Information Technology.
+ Three plus years’ experience in Systems Engineering, Application Architecture or Integration Design
+ Bachelor’s Degree, in Computer Science or related field.
+ Strong experience in application server administration (Weblogic and JBOSS preferred).
+ Strong understanding of Linux navigation with a general understanding of administering the OS (e.g. package deployments, monitoring, etc.).
+ Experience of working with and deploying customer service software solutions (CRM, case management, agent desktop, KM, chat, etc.).
+ Experience Installing 3 rd party applications
+ Troubleshooting deployments
+ Strong Linux experience
+ Scripting experience (e.g. shell, ant, groovy, python)
+ Web server install and configuration (Apache preferred)
+ Ability to communicate effectively with people from a variety of backgrounds and at all levels of an organization.
+ Successful completion of Verint background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, and SS verification;
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
+ Strong experience working in technical roles within solutions delivery.
+ Monitoring key performance metrics
+ Database (general administration, SQL)
