Our Technology Staffing team is looking to speak with Boston area candidates who would be a good fit according to the specifications below:

Responsibilities:

Work with business users to identify and clarify ETL requirements and business rules

Design, optimize, implement, and troubleshoot ETL processes

Create and execute unit test plans based on system and validation requirements

Document all ETL-related work per standard methodology including specifications for new and existing operational turnover/support

Maintain existing code and fix bugs as needed

Manage timely loading/validation of data according to set deadlines

Ensure smooth functioning of development, staging, and production environments Qualifications:

2+ years of ETL developer experience and Informatica experience (SSIS, DTS) required

Experience developing ETL processes using Informatica, ETL control tables, error logging, auditing, data quality, etc.

Experience with MSSQL 2000 DBMS and above with ability to understand and develop DTS/SSIS

Some Unix/Linux scripting experience

Strong database development skills such as complex SQL queries and complex store procedures in Oracle and SQL Server

Understanding of reusability, parameterization, workflow design, etc.
