SAP Project Manager

We are working on a SAP IT Project Manager role for our Columbus client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage end-to-end SAP implementation and upgrade projects, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and budget.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and develop comprehensive project plans.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including functional consultants, developers, infrastructure teams, and business users, to ensure successful project execution.

Establish and manage project governance structures, including project charters, communication plans, risk management, and change control processes.

Monitor project progress, track milestones, and ensure adherence to project timelines and budget.

Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, and develop contingency plans to minimize project disruptions.

Manage project resources, including assigning tasks, providing direction, and monitoring performance to ensure optimal project delivery.

Collaborate with external vendors and consultants, ensuring their adherence to project requirements and quality standards.

Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and status updates to stakeholders, providing clear communication on project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.

Conduct regular project reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify areas of improvement and implement best practices for future projects. Qualifications:

5+ years of IT Project Management experience

Strong knowledge of SAP modules, such as SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP CRM, or SAP BW, and their integration points.

In-depth understanding of SAP project management methodologies, including ASAP, Agile, or a hybrid approach.

Experience managing full project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, training, and deployment.

Proven ability to manage project budgets, resources, and timelines, while maintaining a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
