Security Engineer Specialist Automation, PowerShell And Ansible

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Automation Engineer with strong expertise in PowerShell and Ansible to support and accelerate automation initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be capable of understanding complex operational use cases, translating them into robust automated workflows, and delivering results with minimal supervision.

This role involves close collaboration with subject matter experts to convert existing PowerShell scripts into Ansible playbooks, enhance and maintain automation solutions, and contribute to documentation and knowledge transition efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and Ansible playbooks for automation and configuration management.

Translate complex operational requirements into automated workflows.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support enterprise IT automation initiatives.

Implement scripting best practices including modularity, error handling, and logging.

Utilize version control systems to manage and maintain codebase.

Contribute to documentation and knowledge transfer processes.

Ensure automation solutions align with security and performance standards. Required Qualifications

Hands-on experience in PowerShell scripting.

Strong working knowledge of Ansible for automation and configuration management.

Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.

Experience in enterprise IT environments and cross-functional collaboration.

Familiarity with version control systems.

Understanding of scripting best practices.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to CyberArk or other Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions.

Background in IT security.

Experience with infrastructure automation tools.

Familiarity with Windows and Linux administration.

Education: Bachelors Degree
