Fort HealthCare is a patient-centered hospital and healthcare system serving individuals, businesses and families in Jefferson, Dane, and Walworth Counties. We are seeking a Health Unit Coordinator to join our Emergency Services team.

Shift:

Part time

PM shift 7:00 pm - 11:00 PM

Every other weekend

The Health Unit Coordinator performs specific clerical tasks for the nursing unit, including maintaining patient record; acts as an effective central communicator while working in collaboration with multi disciplines.

Responsibilities of this position include:

Attentive and responsive to patient and family needs; monitors and responds to call light system.

In collaboration with the care team, reviews the patient electronic medical record to ensure accuracy.

Performs clerical functions pertaining to the needs of the department.

Orders office supplies for the unit and monitors charges for supplies and services and assists with department inventory Benefits:
