Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Insurance Specialist II performs a variety of duties related to insurance coverage and claims. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize diversified workload.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with policy review and renewal.

Maintain calendar for insurance notices, conference calls and other dates and correspondence.

Coordinate with Property and Regional managers on documents needed for insurance claims and litigation.

Work with external agencies to gather information for supporting documents.

Maintain organized files.

Participate in various ad hoc projects and activities.

Ensure organization confidentiality.

Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

College degree preferred.

Prior Insurance experience 2-4 years.

215, 220, or 440 License with FL Dept of Financial Services preferred (no Public Adjuster).

Insurance Underwriting, Agency, Carrier, Third Party Administrator experience a plus.

Advanced Excel and Microsoft Word skills.

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

Excellent documentation and communication skills, professional phone skills.

Energized and Enthusiastic candidate required.Company Description
