Offset Printing Press Operator

Job Description

Busy, high quality package printing company in VA is expanding operations. They are hiring experienced Lead Offset Press Operator for 12 hour day and night shifts.

Responsibilities include:

Read and interpret job instructions.

Make ready 40" press for job runs to meet specifications, and/or press adjustments prior to production run to meet and maintain the quality specifications of the job.

Inspect quality throughout the run.

Press maintenance.

Assist with client press okays.

Qualifications include:

Minimum 5 -7 years' experience operating multi-unit 40" sheetfed offset presses; KBA exp. a plus.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Good mechanical skills.

Experience using Continuous Improvement Methods.

Excellent communication skills.

Team building skills.

UV experience a plus.

PC proficient (basic skills).

Able to work 12 hour shift.
