The ideal candidate will bring strong Apex and Lightning development expertise, platform configuration knowledge, and DevOps experience to enhance and maintain Salesforce applications aligned with business needs.

This role also includes mentoring junior developers, supporting production systems, and working closely with IT and business stakeholders to implement scalable, user-friendly solutions.

Key Responsibilities: Design and implement Salesforce configurations including Flows, page layouts, custom fields, record types, and settings Develop and maintain Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Components, Visualforce pages, and Lightning Web Components Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into scalable, high-performance Salesforce solutions Optimize use of platform features; conduct platform health reviews and manage release updates Contribute to and maintain the Salesforce platform roadmap Lead or assist in DevOps and release management using tools like Gearset and OwnBackup Provide production support, including troubleshooting and performance tuning Lead technical discussions and guide junior developers Create and maintain technical documentation, test cases, and test scripts Required Skills & Experience: Skill Required / Desired Years of Experience Required - Apex coding and Salesforce Flow Required - Required - DevOps / Release Management Required - Professional experience as a programmer Required 8+ years Highly Desired Skills: 4-year degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field Experience with OmniStudio and Public Sector Solutions Familiarity with Gearset, OwnBackup, and other DevOps tools Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across business and IT teams Additional Notes: Candidates must be available to work on-site every Monday Candidates must be capable of leading discussions, mentoring others, and documenting solutions clearly Prior public sector experience is a plus, especially in regulated or government environments About the company United Software Group, Inc.
