The ideal candidate will be a key member of the STEPN organization. They will implementing best practices and guidance for building first in class software solutions by utilizing cloud native technologies.

The main responsibilities include:

Partners in an Agile Scrum team environment to design, develop, code, test, debug, and support in production of new software or enhancements to existing software

Works closely with business partners and technical staff to create solutions that meet business and technical requirements

Collaborates with product developers in a fast-moving agile team to define and implement effective and efficient automated tests

Documents own work to promote transparency and reuse

Builds unit test cases, debugs integration issues, and deploys emergency patches as needed

Actively participates in the code-review process

Prioritizes and handles multiple concurrent projects and efforts

Makes clear, specific commitments to deliver results on schedule

Accountable for successfully completing assignments or tasks on schedule

What we look for in a candidate includes:

Significant software engineering experience in writing complex front-end UIs using Vue.js (version 3)

Significant experience with integration technologies including REST and GraphQL Services, micro-services patterns, Open API specifications.

Experience with data structuring standards including XML, JSON, and YAML

Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git and GitHub Automation and build tools.

Effective communication, interpersonal and analytical skills

Ability to work in a highly collaborative and empowered environment

Self-starter, can-do attitude within a fast-moving business and technical environment

Strong problem-solving skills, time management, and oral and written communication skills

Demonstrated history of software development roles with expanding responsibilities and corresponding successful deliveries over time

5+ years professional experience with a bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent education and experience.

FedRAMP knowledge preferred.

Compensation: This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors. Location Based Pay Ranges: $149,084 - $198,779 in these states: AL AR AZ FL GA IA ID IN KS KY LA ME MO MS MT ND NE NM OH OK PA SC SD TN UT VT WI WV WY $156,539 - $208,718 in these states: CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI $163,993 - $218,657 in these states: AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA
