The Infrastructure Engineer is a critical team member that architects, builds, implements, and supports key infrastructure areas such as servers, storage, databases, endpoints, and key management systems including asset management.

What Your Day Will Look Like Own & Deliver a Secure & Trusted Environment Share technical knowledge and experience to grow the talent and technical ability of the infrastructure team.

Demonstrate ability to follow detailed technical instructions.

Maintain standards including productivity, quality, security, and customer-service standards; resolve problems; completing audits; identifying customer service trends; identifying system improvements; and implementing change.

Provide thought leadership in the management and support of key systems and applications.

Achieve infrastructure objectives by completing projects and action plans with a sense of urgency.

Maintain productivity, quality, security, and key SLA standards; resolve problems; identifying key trends; determining system improvements; and recommending changes.

Audit quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; establishing and communicating service metrics; monitoring and analyzing results.

Maximize customer operational performance by providing service desk team members key technical documentation to help resolve problems.

Provide technical expertise and experience to solve all requests and incidents submitted to the infrastructure team.

Participate in the prompt best practices solution regarding complicated support issues.

Assist in communications/workarounds and escalate problem/project requests and incidents to appropriate teams.

Take part in a weekly rotation of after-hours IT support.

Assume primary ownership of key infrastructure systems, while training others to help manage and support them.

Continuously improve IT infrastructure skills through in-house training, self-study methods, and other available training resources.

Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations that would apply to this job.

Communicate & Serve Others Build and maintain relationships with business leaders, stakeholders, and IT team.

Effectively communicate to ensure the infrastructure team's efforts are aligned with the company strategy.

Be actively engaged, understand key project and task status as well as the ability to pass time-sensitive information to your team members, as needed.

Prepare clear and transparent asset information as needed.

The Ideal Candidate Will Meet The Following Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education or experience.

6-10 years of experience in an IT infrastructure role.

Additional Skills Experience with Linux systems administration.

Experience with Microsoft ECM (SCCM). Knowledge of ServiceNow (nice-to-have). Excellent time-management and organizational skills.

Ability to learn, retain and use available information and technology.

Professional, accountable, and resourceful team player.

Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.

Strong ability to elicit, articulate, and document information in a well-organized manner.

Ability to communicate difficult and sensitive information tactfully.

Ability to form trusted relationships at all levels.

Strong knowledge in Windows 11, Windows Server 2019+, and Microsoft Office 365.

Strong knowledge of PC hardware set-up and configuration (Thick, Thin, VDI). Strong understanding of iPhones, and Android phones.
