CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for an Event Coordinator Contractor.

Pay Rate: Based on experience
Work Hours: M-F 8am-5pm
Education: High School Diploma required
Description
The Event Coordinator Contractor will support the Events Specialist in planning, organizing, and executing corporate events that align with organizational goals and create positive experiences for attendees. Events include customer meetings, business conferences, team-building activities, and community outreach programs. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
• Support meetings/events at headquarters, including customer visits, community outreach events, internal meetings with over 50 participants, and onboarding programs for interns and large groups.
• Reserve meeting space and coordinate with the facilities team for room set-up.
• Partner with the café team to arrange catering services.
• Manage the registration process for external visitors and coordinate housing and transportation needs.
• Assist the Events Specialist with proofing event documentation, including banquet event orders, production schedules, and run-of-show materials.
• Support invoice review and payment processes.
Requirements
• 1–3 years of experience in event planning, including organization, coordinating events, and reviewing contracts.
• Experience in any event-related industry such as weddings, special events, hospitality, or banquets.

• High School Diploma required

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
