Perform Preventive and Corrective maintenance on machines, equipment and or facility/utilities.

Confers with operators and observes, tests, and evaluates operation of tooling and fixtures to diagnose cause of malfunction or identify opportunities for improvement in said tooling and fixtures

Fabricates necessary parts to complete repairs and / or modifications to tooling as needed.

Repairs, replaces, adjusts, and aligns components of tooling and fixtures

Cleans and lubricates parts, equipment, and machinery

Examines parts / tooling for defects, such as breakage or excessive wear and is able to fix accordingly

Records repairs and maintenance performed under PM program

Is proficient in the following areas: Welding & fabricating aluminum and steel, machining parts using lathe and mill, competent on use of other equipment required for repair and fabrication of tools and fixtures.

Competent in both MIG and TIG welding processes.

Is able and willing to participate in other areas of general maintenance needs when schedule dictates the need to do so.

Collaborate on projects as needed

Education: High School Diploma or GED is required

Experience and/or Training: Prior rotational molding experience and Mechatronics training preferred.

Manufacturing maintenance required: Electronics (PLC, Drives, Sensors and its logics), Electrical systems, wiring schematics and setting, Mechanical: Gear box, transmissions, hydraulics and pneumatics.

Welding and Fabrication is also preferred.

Licenses/Certificates: No requirements

Technology/Computer Equipment: Ability to utilize computer platforms to access work instructions

Communication: The ability to read, speak, and comprehend English is required

This is a 2nd shift position 4pm - 12 midnight, OT as required. Must be flexible to train on 1st shift for 3-4 weeks.
