General Description of Role and Responsibilities:
Assist in the coordination and management of completed construction projects that are now in their operational phase.
Support project managers in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets
Conduct site visits to monitor service delivery performance of MEP, Civil/Structural, Cleaning/Landscaping contractors in accordance with their contracts and to ensure compliance with safety standards
Analyse and interpret site reports from contractors as to their performance.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, correspondence, and invoices
Participate in project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions
Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
Experience required will be either between 2 years and up to 5 years
Familiarity with construction processes, methods, and materials
Familiarity with building services systems
Familiarity with understanding contracts and their performance clauses
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Engineering software tools, such as CAD (computer-aided design) and Project Management tools such as Primavera
Informs themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals and Procedures within Hill International and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill.
