EHS Manager
Title: EHS Manager
Location: Cincinnati, OH -- We provide relocation assistance
Salary: $125,000- $150,000/year
Founded in the early 1900s we are a mid-sized wholesale provider of commercial and industrial flooring solutions. Our headcount has increased over 10% the past 2 years as we continue to expand our product line and gain market share in our space.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and EPA regulations.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety standards.
Lead the investigation of incidents and accidents, providing recommendations for corrective actions and preventive measures.
Train employees on safety practices, environmental regulations, and emergency response procedures.
Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics, ensuring continuous improvement of safety programs.
Collaborate with various departments to integrate safety and environmental practices into operational processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 7 years of experience in EHS management, preferably in an industrial setting.
Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and EPA regulations and standard
Proven experience in conducting audits and inspections for compliance.
Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage and train teams.
Certification in EHS practices (such as NEBOSH, CSP, or equivalent) is preferred.
