About the Role

We're looking for a skilled Service Technician to join our dynamic team! This role is hands-on, field-oriented, and customer-focused—ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, tool repairs, and traveling to support customer needs.

As a Service Technician, you will perform equipment repair, calibration, product conversions, field service work, training, and technical demonstrations—both in-house and at customer locations (including offshore). You'll also support toolbox preparation, trade show logistics, and inventory tracking.

Key Responsibilities

Repair & Calibration: Inspect, repair, and calibrate ITH tools in-house and on-site to ensure optimal performance.

Field Support: Travel up to 40% to customer sites and offshore locations to operate and support ITH tooling applications.

Training & Demonstration: Deliver tool training and live product demonstrations to customers in support of sales and service goals.

Database Management: Accurately document service activities and parts used using internal systems.

Toolbox Assembly: Customize toolboxes for ITH kits including modification, painting, and branding.

Trade Show Support: Pack/unpack and prepare equipment and booth materials for exhibitions and demos.

Inventory Management: Track usage and assist with inventory counts for service-related materials.

Customer Service: Answer phones and provide support for incoming customer inquiries.

Product Conversions: Perform conversions based on production orders and equipment specifications.

What You’ll Need to Succeed (Must Have)

Strong mechanical and technical aptitude—especially in hydraulic or torque tools.

Experience with tool calibration and basic electrical diagnostics.

Field service experience or comfort working in offsite and offshore environments.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Ability to deliver technical demonstrations and training.

Inventory tracking and reporting experience.

Ability to work independently, follow procedures, and manage time effectively.

Comfortable with hands-on work: modifying, assembling, painting, and organizing toolkits.

Solid understanding of safety regulations and field service protocols.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification a plus.

Valid driver’s license with ability to rent vehicles.

Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted and work on ladders/scaffolding.

Must pass a drug screening; zero tolerance for illegal drug use.

Willingness to travel up to 40%, including offshore assignments.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.
