Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented, tech-savvy Billing Coordinator to manage the billing process
with accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be proficient with billing software,
comfortable with digital tools, and capable of streamlining financial workflows using
technology. You’ll play a key role in ensuring timely invoicing, maintaining accurate records,
and enhancing the overall billing process through automation and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and issue accurate invoices to clients in a timely manner
Maintain and update billing records, client accounts, and payment histories
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies
Utilize accounting and ERP software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Zoho Books)
Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue payments
Generate reports related to billing, receivables, and client account statuses
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
Identify opportunities to automate or improve billing processes using digital tools
Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations
Qualifications:
Ability to pass Social Security Suitability Clearance
Proven experience as a Billing Coordinator, Billing Specialist, or similar role
Comfortable with spreadsheets (Airtable, Excel, Google Sheets), databases, and cloud-based platforms
Familiarity with CRM and document processing systems is a plus
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Associate or Bachelor’s degree or a related experience preferred
Preferred Skills:
Experience with automation tools (e.g., Zapier, Microsoft Power Automate)
Understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA if relevant)
Knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, or Monday.com)Company Description
