Crane Operator - No Travel

Job Description

Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain various types of cranes

- Rig and lift heavy materials and equipment using the cranes

- Build and dismantle structures using the crane

- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the crane to ensure safe and efficient operation

- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating the crane

- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and efficient materials handling

- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as needed

Qualifications:

- Valid crane operator certification/license

- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of crane operations

- Previous experience operating cranes in a construction setting

- Familiarity with rigging techniques and procedures

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and load charts

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

10 hour shift

8 hour shift

Monday to Friday

Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

Knoxville, TN: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
