Salary: $34,833.00
Duties
Operates switchboard.
Greets and directs customers with a positive, helpful attitude to create a welcoming environment.
Provides general customer inquiry responses.
Meters and distributes U.S. mail and interoffice mail.
Manages schedule for funding and maintenance of US postage meter.
Performs miscellaneous clerical typing duties as needed, utilizing Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Other tasks, as assigned, to assist with special projects.
Maintains tidy and organized reception area.
Must perform duties in a professional and courteous manner to promote a positive image of the Road Commission for Oakland County.
Requires a daily schedule that supports RCOC hours of operation.
Regular and predictable onsite job attendance is an essential function of this position.
Special Experience/Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent with previous reception/switchboard operation.
Excellent communication skills.
Demonstrate proficient computer skills including keyboarding/typing while using Microsoft Office or similar software required with reasonable speed and accuracy (50 wpm).
Must possess and maintain a valid State of Michigan Drivers License.
