Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities. The ideal candidate will be technically sound, experienced in CGA, GC, CWA, and FTIR, well-spoken and driven to succeed in meeting and exceeding our customer's needs.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid or Remote #LI-Hybrid #LI-Remote

This role is contributing to the Process Automation Measurement & Analytics division.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Communicating to the customers about details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB's offering and strategy.

Ensuring efficient marketing activities and communicates value proposition to customers.

Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market.

Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supports cash collection and project management activities, when needed

Qualifications for the role

Associates Degree in technology with combined 5 years' experience in instrumentation as either a customer, selling, technician or project manager.

Solid understanding of Analytics including but not limited to GC's, FTIR, CGA and CWA. Working knowledge of instrumentation is also an asset.

Leverage any existing relationships in the industry to bring new selling opportunities to ABB

Ability to design solutions particular to the customer's needs while driving ABB products into the solution.

Obsessive focus on end users, their wants and needs, their goals and objectives, how they buy, how they maintain their equipment, how they partner with suppliers.

Ability to develop relationships at all levels in ABB, our channel partners and our end users (from field personnel to corner office).

Up to 50% domestic travel required, international maybe once per year for training

Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
