A respected rail construction contractor is seeking a Business Development Specialist to support client engagement and opportunity development across Queensland's expanding rail infrastructure sector. This role is key in helping grow the business by supporting relationship management, tender coordination, and strategic pursuit activities within the rail construction space.
About the Role
Reporting into the broader Business Development team, the successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders and external clients to:
Support and maintain client relationships with government agencies, contractors, and consultants
Assist in identifying and tracking upcoming project opportunities
Coordinate bid and tender processes, ensuring timely submissions and internal collaboration
Represent the business at industry events and client forums
Contribute to market research and reporting to support strategic growth
What You Bring
Experience in business development, client engagement, or commercial support roles within rail, civil construction or infrastructure
Strong communication and organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of Queensland's rail infrastructure sector and key clients is highly regarded
