Pilot

Windhoek Consulting Engineers (PTY) Ltd is seeking a licensed Commercial Pilot with a Cirrus SR22 type rating from a certified Cirrus training school.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Flight Operations:

Conduct flights for company executives and employees to project sites and meetings across the country.

Ensure all flight operations are carried out safely and efficiently following aviation regulations and company policies.

Perform pre-flight planning, including route selection, weather assessment, and fuel calculations.

Aircraft Management:

Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections to ensure the aircraft is in optimal condition.

Coordinate with maintenance personnel to ensure regular servicing and compliance with all airworthiness directives.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Licensing and Certification:

Valid Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL).

Cirrus SR22 type rating from a certified Cirrus training school.

Valid Instrument Rating (IR)

Instructor Rating (advantageous).

Valid class 1 Medical.

Valid Crew Resource Management (CRM).

Valid driver's licence.

Experience:

Minimum of 250 hours total flight time.

Proven experience in operating the Cirrus SR22 and similar aircraft, such as:

Proven experience on Cessna aircraft up to and including a C210(T).

Proven experience on Piper aircraft up to and including a Seneca 2.

Proven experience on a Sling aircraft.

Skills and Attributes:

Strong understanding of aviation regulations and safety protocols.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Flexibility to accommodate varying flight schedules.

Additional Requirements:

Must be based in or willing to relocate to Windhoek, Namibia.

Must be available for occasional weekend or after-hours flights as required by company needs.

Must have an unencumbered travel document (Passport) to travel within the SADC region.
