SAP MM/EWM Consultant (Mauritius)

Job Brief

We are looking to employ a strong mid-level functional SAP Consultant with a primary focus on the MM and EWM modules, and a solid understanding of cross-functional integration within the logistics space, particularly with SD (Sales and Distribution), PP (Production Planning), and FI (Financial Accounting). This is a primarily remote role with on-site presence as required by assigned clients.

Preference will be given to permanent employees, but contractors will also be considered on an agreed retainer.

Responsibilities

Configuration and support of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) business processes

Setup and maintenance of Purchasing Documents (Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders)

Configuration of Pricing Procedures and Condition Types Setup and troubleshooting of Output Messages

Configuration of Release Strategies for procurement

Execution and support of Three-Way Matching

Maintenance of Info Records and Vendor Master Data

Configuration of Valuation Classes and Account Assignment Categories

Setup and understanding of Material Movement Types

Management of Service Procurement processes

Contract Management and Outline Agreements

Configuration and support of Inventory Management business processes

Configuration and support of Warehouse Management (WM) processes, including:

Putaway and Picking strategies

Transfer Orders and Transfer Requirements

Bin Management

Stock Transfers and Stock Placement

WM Movement Types

Configuration and monitoring of Material Requirements Planning (MRP)

Execution and support of Physical Inventory processes

Handling of Material Valuation, including Moving Average, FIFO, and LIFO methods

Development of Functional Specifications for custom enhancements

Demonstrated understanding of:

Material Masters

Bills of Materials (BOMs)

Info Records

Vendor Masters

Service Masters

Requirements

SAP MM Certification (proof will be requested)

SAP EWM Certification advantageous

SAP Experience in PP and SD advantageous
