Talent Fishers is recruiting on behalf of a leading international group delivering remote site services (camp management) to industrial and infrastructure projects in complex environments. The group operates globally and supports major actors in the mining, energy, construction, and engineering sectors.
To strengthen their growth among Chinese clients in Africa, our client is looking for a Business Developer Chinese Accounts.
Position Objective
Accelerate business growth with Chinese companies operating in Africa through strategic commercial development in the field of camp management services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand the companys service offering, competitive advantages, and commercial positioning.
- Identify and assess commercial opportunities within Chinese organizations active in Africa.
- Build and nurture a strong international network with decision-makers in key sectors (mining, oil & gas, EPC...).
- Define and support bid/no-bid decisions based on clear business cases.
- Collaborate closely with local country teams and global bid and leadership teams throughout tender and negotiation phases.
- Organize site visits for clients and prospects, showcasing operational excellence.
- Represent the company at industry events and forums to strengthen visibility and positioning.
- Identify and propose strategic partnerships with key players.
- Support negotiations with existing clients in the region and beyond when necessary.
Profile:
Education:
- Engineering degree (preferably in mining) or Masters in Business Management.
Languages:
- Fluent in Mandarin and English; French is a plus.
Experience:
- 5 to 10 years in international business development.
- Knowledge of African markets and experience dealing with Chinese companies.
Personal Traits:
- Strong interpersonal skills and results-driven.
- High level of autonomy, cultural adaptability, and a winning mindset.
