Site-Based Engineer

SITE- BASED ENGINEER - Based in Mauritius

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Interprete and Implement Technical Drawings and Specifications.

Coordinate with engineers, architects, consultants and subcontractors.

Attend site meetings and provide input on construction issues and planning.

Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.

Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, attendance, and deliveries.

Display the ability to interprete drawings, advise on site conditions, and raise R.F. Is with the relevant consultants.

Supervise and generate bar bending schedules and formwork drawings as per design.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.

Minimum 5 10 years of experience in a similar role within the construction Industry

Proven track record of managing construction sites in Mauritius is an advantage or working as an Expatriate.

Proficient in MS Office, MS Project and AUTOCAD.

Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing site conditions.
