Arabic Interpretation Vacancy

We are currently seeking two certified English <> Gulf Arabic Court Interpreters for a legal hearing assignment in Doha, Qatar.

This is a freelance on-site role. The interpreters will facilitate real-time interpretation during court proceedings, ensuring accuracy, neutrality, and cultural appropriateness.

Responsibilities

Provide accurate and professional simultaneous/consecutive interpretation during court sessions.

Interpret legal terminology and complex legal discourse between English and Gulf Arabic.

Ensure complete confidentiality and adherence to court protocol and professional ethics.

Maintain cultural sensitivity and professionalism in all interactions.

Be punctual and fully prepared for each session across the hearing.

Qualifications

Fluency in both English and Gulf Arabic (spoken and written).

Prior experience interpreting in legal or courtroom environments.

Excellent understanding of legal terminology in both languages.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to remain neutral, composed, and accurate in high-pressure legal settings.

Residency in Qatar.

MUST-HAVE Qualifications

Proven experience in legal interpretation or courtroom settings.

Official interpreter certification.

Availability in Doha, Qatar.
