Summary:
We are looking for a highly experienced and results-driven Mechanical Maintenance Execution Manager to lead the mechanical maintenance operations. A great opportunity for Filipino Mechanical Engineers currently working abroad and thinking of coming back to the Philippines.
The ideal candidate is a licensed Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in maintenance execution within the cement or heavy industrial sector. This role is strategic and hands-on, requiring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a high level of safety awareness to ensure equipment reliability, cost efficiency, and operational continuity.
Responsibilities:
Manage and lead the mechanical team, including supervisors and technicians, to execute maintenance plans and programs effectively.
Develop, organize, and lead the implementation of mechanical maintenance strategies, master schedules (13-week, weekly, and daily), and improvement projects.
Oversee the daily operations of the Machine and Fabrication Shop, ensuring its availability to support plant needs and managing the use of specialized tools and equipment.
Implement and sustain asset numbering systems and lead the identification and management of critical spare parts to improve equipment reliability.
Provide input for the annual budget, monitor expenditures, and manage costs related to third-party services, materials, and employee resources.
Ensure that all maintenance activities adhere to safety standards and company policies, including conducting root cause analysis and FMEA for critical equipment.
Evaluate the mechanical section's performance, manage the professional development of direct reports, and assess training effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (Licensed Mechanical Engineer preferred)
10+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance execution.
Strong leadership and open-minded problem-solving skills.
Extensive knowledge of mechanical equipment, practices, and troubleshooting, including hydraulics and pneumatics.
High level of safety awareness, particularly for work involving heavy loads, hot work, energy isolation, confined spaces, and working at heights.
