The BAE Systems site in Aiken, South Carolina is seeking a Quality Engineer II in support of Combat Mission Systems for 2nd Shift.
In this role as a Quality Engineer II, you'll be charged to:
Develop and write inspection plans.
Read, interpret, and apply blueprint skills.
Apply Geometric Dimensions & Tolerancing (GD&T) concepts.
Monitor Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts and data files.
Process non-conformances for disposition.
Provide technical quality support to production and engineering.Please note: This role supports on 2nd Shift on a "9x80" work schedule.

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience
Required Skills and Education
This position typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline, and two (2) years related experience, or the overall equivalent.
Ability to read, interpret and understand blueprints.
Working knowledge in reading, comprehending, and applying GD&T principles and applications.
Ability to read and understand raw material specifications.
Computer literacy in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Understanding of Quality and Lean Principles.
Ability to support 2nd Shift.

Oracle MRP system;
First Article Inspection preparation;
PFEMAs;
Writing inspection plans;
Statistical Process Control;
Laser Scanner Inspection technology;
Polyworks inspection programing;
CMM-Manager inspection programming.
