Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and versatile Data Entry Writer to join our team. This role involves accurately entering data and creating or editing written content such as reports, product descriptions, or transcriptions. The ideal candidate has strong typing skills, excellent command of language, and the ability to work efficiently in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately enter data from various sources into company databases or content management systems
Write, edit, and proofread content including reports, product descriptions, articles, or transcription outputs
Verify the accuracy and completeness of data and written materials
Format documents and ensure consistency and quality of text
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Perform routine data quality checks and corrections
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred
Proven experience in data entry and writing or editing roles
Excellent written communication and grammar skills
Fast and accurate typing skills (40+ WPM)
Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar tools
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with transcription or content management systems
Background in a specific industry (e.g., healthcare, finance, marketing) a plus
Basic knowledge of SEO principles for writing roles
Previous remote work experience
