Logistics Manager

Role Summary: To ensure timely and cost-effective delivery, storage and distribution of materials by managing inventory, transportation, negotiation with suppliers and regulatory compliance.

This encompasses the key responsibilities as follows.

Area of Responsibilities: Develop, implement and oversee logistic plans, strategies and procedures to support project objectives Monitor and maintain sufficient inventory to ensure uninterrupted supply to the projects Planning and coordination of inbound and outbound shipments, selecting cost effective careers, negotiating rates, finalization of contracts and managing delivery schedules Track and monitor shipments and efficient operation of warehouse Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards and relevant local laws Close coordination with Procurement Department and Project Team to optimize and to ensure seamless logistic operations Competencies: Strong knowledge of logistics regulations, safety standards and industry best practices Skills: Proficient in MS Office applications Excellent communication and negotiation skills Education: Bachelors degree in Logistics and supply chain.

Masters degree holders will be given preference Experience: 15 + Years’ experience in logistics management; out of which minimum 5 years from Oil & Gas construction industry Please send your resume/CV
