Roofing Field Superintendent
Location: Columbus, OH (or surrounding areas)
Salary: $75K-$100K base + bonus
Position Overview
The Roofing Field Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all aspects of commercial roofing projects from initiation to completion. This includes managing field operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations on roofing job sites ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Coordinate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met.
Develop and implement jobsite safety plans to promote a safe working environment.
Manage field staff and provide training and support to ensure high levels of performance and morale.
Review project plans and specifications to understand required materials and processes.
Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
Address on-site issues and conflicts as they arise to minimize project delays.
Ensure accurate documentation of work progress and report to upper management as needed.
Qualifications
Proven experience in commercial roofing and field supervision.
Strong knowledge of roofing systems including TPO, EPDM, PVC, and low slope applications.
Ability to develop and implement jobsite safety plans and ensure compliance.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Familiarity with construction production planning and project management.
Experience with roof repair and maintenance, including steep slope and green roofs.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as required.
