In this role, you will work with the client implementation team members to ensure that the calculation engine and systems are set up properly. You will develop and test client systems and calculation engines, configure and release the employee experience, load client data into the web application database, unit test the system, and analyze and fix defects identified during quality assurance and user acceptance testing. Post implementation, you’ll help develop and support a common client technology architecture, promote consistency and maintainability of systems, and contribute to the development of new tools, processes, and solutions to create efficiencies and meet clients’ outsourcing needs. This is a full-time, permanent position. The chosen candidate can work out of the company’s Jacksonville, FL, or Irving, TX, location and will work a hybrid schedule after an initial training period.
Requirements
Must Haves
5-7 years of defined benefit pension plan experience, including collaborating with technical and retirement resources on pension system implementation projects
Technological aptitude with pension administration technology, including the interaction of data and system programming
Strong Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to develop Excel-based calculation engines
Ability to interpret and understand documented pension plan provisions
Data analysis and manipulation proficiency
Understanding of the importance of development standards (e.g., object-oriented programming)
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex pension concepts to a lay person
Team player who can collaborate cross-functionally to achieve a defined project outcome
Proactive, accomplishment-oriented, and focused on delivering quality products in a timely fashion
Bachelor's degree in math, statistics, actual science, or other major with significant quantitative coursework and a strong academic record
