Associate Engineer, Digital Implementation – ATE Business Unit

As an Associate Digital Implementation Engineer, you will play a critical role in the physical design and implementation of digital integrated circuits. You will be responsible for transforming complex RTL designs into high-quality physical layouts ready for tapeout. This entry-level position involves developing and executing RTL-to-GDSII workflows and delivering robust digital block layouts that support the ATE Business Unit’s mission of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in RTL synthesis, Design-for-Test (DFT) and logic optimization using industry-standard EDA tools

Support digital block implementation through floorplanning, placement and routing

Perform static timing analysis (STA) and resolve timing violations

Contribute to power integrity and rail analysis

Participate in physical verification tasks such as DRC, LVS and antenna checks

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality design

Document implementation process and contribute to design reviews

Engage in technical intiatives and methodology improvements

Key Qualifications:

Basic understanding of digital design principles and VLSI concepts

Familiarity with EDA tools such as Cadence, Synopsys, or Siemens

Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python, Perl, Tcl) is a plus

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Good communication and teamwork abilities

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical or Computer Engineering.

Work Arrangement and Travel:

This role offers a hybrid work setup, combining onsite and remote work. Occasional domestic and international travel is expected for technical conferences, and team engagements.
