Tool and Die Setter

Are you ready to take your mechanical skills to the next level? Van-Am Tool & Engineering is hiring a Tool and Die Setter to support our Stamping Department. In this hands-on role, you'll play a critical part in setting up and maintaining dies that keep our precision manufacturing operations running smoothly.

What You'll Do:

Set up and remove stamping dies on presses

Perform minor maintenance and cleaning of tooling

Support production goals through accurate, efficient setups

Collaborate with operators and troubleshoot die issues

Maintain safety and documentation standards

️ What We're Looking For:

1+ year experience in manufacturing or stamping preferred

Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use tools & gauges

Ability to read blueprints and setup sheets

Forklift certification or willingness to obtain

Bonus: Experience with progressive or transfer dies

What to Expect:

Physical work: standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), using hoists & cranes

Fast-paced production floor environment

PPE required – safety is a top priority

Shift differentials available (2nd & Weekend shifts)
