Position Summary:

We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Finance Manager to lead our financial operations in China. This role is critical in supporting our rapidly growing proteomics business, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and aligning financial practices with global standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in biotech or life sciences, with a deep understanding of China’s financial and regulatory landscape and multinational company experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management & Reporting

Oversee all financial operations in China, including banking, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting (PRC GAAP and US GAAP).

Review and finalize and monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and management package prepared by third party accounting firm and submit them timely to US headquarters for consolidation.

Compliance & Risk Management

Ensure full compliance with Chinese tax laws, SAFE regulations, and other statutory requirements.

Liaise with external accounting firms, auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.

Manage internal controls and implement risk mitigation strategies.

Business Partnering

Collaborate with local and global leadership to support strategic decision-making.

Provide financial insights and analysis to support R&D, commercial, and operational initiatives.

Support pricing, cost analysis, and inventory management.

Team Leadership

Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or equivalent preferred.

8+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

Experience in biotech, life sciences, or pharmaceutical industry is highly desirable.

Strong knowledge of PRC GAAP, tax regulations, and SAFE compliance.

Proficiency in English and Mandarin (written and spoken).

Experience with NetSuite ERP systems is a plus.
