Are you passionate about turning data into clear, actionable insights? MOL România is looking for a Research and Data Analyst in our Retail Marketing department to support smarter marketing decisions through advanced analytics, customer insights, and market research.
What you’ll do:
Analyze marketing, loyalty, and category performance data to uncover trends and identify growth opportunities
Provide monthly and quarterly analysis on brand tracking, loyalty performance, and campaign effectiveness
Develop business cases for marketing initiatives, using historical data and clear financial logic
Conduct competitor monitoring and consumer behavior research, turning insights into strategic recommendations
Track and report key KPIs and marketing budget performance
Collaborate with Group and local teams on research studies, data projects, and analytics reporting
Use tools like Power BI, Excel, and statistical software to visualize and communicate findings
Ensure that data insights lead to concrete action plans and support ongoing commercial decisions
What we’re looking for:
Higher education in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a similar field
Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis, marketing research, or commercial analytics
Strong analytical mindset with experience working with Power BI, Excel (advanced), and ideally SQL or other analysis tools
Familiarity with research methodologies (qualitative and quantitative), ability to transform complex data into business-relevant insights
Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently
Fluent in English (minimum B2 level)
Driver’s license is a plus
