About the Role:
British Airways is seeking skilled and dedicated Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs) to join our engineering team at Heathrow. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring the safety, airworthiness, and performance of our world-class fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on British Airways aircraft
Conduct inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and component replacements
Ensure compliance with UK CAA, EASA, and company safety regulations
Accurately complete maintenance logs and technical documentation
Collaborate with maintenance control, engineering support, and flight operations
Requirements:
Valid UK CAA Part-66 Licence (Category B1 and/or B2)
Type ratings on Airbus (A320/A350) or Boeing (B777/B787) preferred
Minimum 2-4 years hands-on experience with commercial aircraft
In-depth knowledge of aviation maintenance procedures and safety protocols
Right to work in the UK
Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills
