Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for picking and packaging products for shipping and loading and unloading trucks as needed. You will also be responsible for checking and verifying paperwork. Training will be provided on the use of warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and cranes. This position requires someone who can work safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Pick and package products for shipping.

Load and unload trucks as needed.

Check and verify paperwork.

Operate warehouse equipment like pallet jacks and cranes.Essential Skills

Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience (at least 6 months)

Motivated and dependable

Good attendance record

Ability to lift 50+ lbs

Work Environment

You will work in a large open warehouse environment where steel-toed shoes are required. Other personal protective equipment will be provided as needed. The work hours are from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Portland, Maine.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
