Software Engineering Manager

We are working with a client headquartered in Columbus to identify a Software Engineering Manager. The ideal candidate will align with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Responsibilities:

Manage, design, develop, and test features on new and existing projects

Provide recommendations and evaluations of new designs and architecture

Develop well-tested, high-performance, scalable applications

Manage a team of engineers to develop programming best practices

Mentor direct reports to design, build, and maintain application systems as the subject matter expert.

Lead a team of senior developers to define the technical scope, project requirements, business and technical design understanding for large projects

Collaborate with backend developers to integrate PHP-based services with React front-end components

Assist Director of IT Operations in strategic planning Qualifications:

6+ years of development experience with demonstrated progressive responsibilities

Familiarity with PHP and its role in full-stack development environments

The thirst to expand your technical breadth, industry exposure, and project/client management skills

Quantitative analytical abilities, with a track record of strong problem-solving

Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
