Description:

Ellofant is a modern consulting firm built for those who want to do work that actually moves the needle. We help companies navigate change, complexity, and scale through a blend of strategic thinking, trusted technology, and hands-on execution. Our clients rely on us not just for advice, but for building systems, launching products, and driving outcomes that matter. At Ellofant, we value clarity over jargon, momentum over perfection, and people over process. We’re looking for curious, driven individuals who want to solve real problems with real impact. If you're excited about challenging what’s possible and delivering meaningful change while you're at it, Ellofant might be your next move.

We are looking for an experienced Agile Coach to join our team and lead a critical transformation initiative with the CISO organization of a major medical institution. In this role, you'll be instrumental in helping security teams adopt and scale agile methodologies to improve their effectiveness and delivery. This isn't a one-size-fits-all role; we need someone who can assess, adapt, and implement the right agile practices for teams that handle everything from day-to-day operations to complex, long-term projects.

You will begin with a pilot approach, working closely with a few key teams over the first few months to establish the foundational practices and guardrails for success. Your work will then be leveraged to guide a broader rollout of these agile principles across the entire CISO organization by the end of the year.

What You’ll be Doing:

* Establish Foundational Agile Practices: You'll be the expert in helping teams understand core agile principles and mindsets. This includes conducting engaging training sessions, coaching teams on how to effectively use agile management tools, and configuring those tools to support their workflows.

* Implement Key Frameworks: You will set up an intake process and define metrics to measure the effectiveness of the support services provided to the enterprise. For Business As Usual (BAU) operational support teams, you'll help them leverage Kanban to visualize work, limit work in progress, and improve flow. You will also help establish the infrastructure for a Project Management Office (PMO) to support agile projects.

* Lead Agile Transformation: You will identify and introduce appropriate Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) practices as needed to support the CISO organization's growth. You'll create and execute a comprehensive agile training plan, helping teams launch projects with techniques like story mapping. You will guide teams in prioritizing their backlogs, defining a clear testing approach for both sprint and release levels, and clarifying concepts like Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD). You’ll also coach teams on how to estimate their work based on team capacity and build realistic roadmaps.

* Mentor and Coach: You'll draw on your past experiences working with various organizations, recognizing that each agile transformation is unique. You'll be comfortable leading by example and coaching teams through challenges, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and adaptation.

What We are Looking For:

* Extensive Agile Experience: You have a proven track record of successfully guiding multiple organizations through agile transformations, adapting your approach to different contexts and team needs.

* Security Domain Knowledge: While not a developer, you have experience working with technical and security teams and understand the unique challenges and processes involved in a security-focused environment.

* Communication & Training Skills: You are an excellent communicator and a natural educator who can simplify complex agile concepts and inspire teams to adopt new ways of working.

* Pragmatic and Adaptable: You understand that agile is not a rigid set of rules but a flexible framework. You are comfortable with a pilot-based approach, and you can build a strong case for change with concrete results and metrics.

If you are a hands-on coach who thrives on solving complex problems and driving meaningful organizational change, we want to talk to you.
