Your Role
The Senior Demand and Deployment (D&D) Analyst develops and executes various analyses to support, inform, and influence demand forecasting and inventory deployment strategies. This role will strategically assess the business' demand and inventory position across the Victoria's Secret Beauty business with the intent of aligning financial and operational plans. This role may be responsible for the supervision and development of an Inventory Deployment Analyst. The ideal candidate should be a highly analytical thinker with a strong interest in product and store plan forecasting.

Your Impact
Track and analyze the performance of inventory plans, making recommendations on potential areas for improvement
Drive significant and measurable improvements in forecasting accuracy and inventory management
Ensure inventory levels support themes and floorsets
Partner with Store Operations and Logistics to streamline shipping and merchandise flow optimizing store merchandise process
Report and make process/tool/talent-specific recommendations for the improvement of forecast accuracy and inventory targets
Direct the creation and utilization of forecasting methods (statistical models and software tools) to deliver and monitor forecast accuracy, ensuring the achievement of forecast performance within standards
Monitor and ensure consistent use of best practice methodology for the configuration of forecasting and event management processes and systems, including decision support for improved pattern after logic
Prepare, report, and communicate forecast and inventory measurements to management on a weekly and period basis (forecast accuracy, inventory plans vs. targets)
Fully complete analysis projects from initial business question/challenge through recommended action with little direction
Leverage an understanding of the concepts of inventory micro-management
Assess level of information needed and most efficient method to synthesize data to appropriately answer business question/problem
Present analysis clearly in both written and verbal formats
Champion change, taking risks as needed and demonstrating flexibility
Adapt and embrace new systems/processes

Your Experience
Bachelor's degree in a related field
5-7 years of experience in analytical positions and/or inventory deployment, demand forecasting, merchandise planning, finance, or logistics, preferably in retail or consumer products serving high-volume, fast-paced and seasonal businesses
High level of technical proficiency in relevant planning, allocation, replenishment, analytical, data management, and financial systems, such as JDA Allocation and Fulfillment, EDW, SAP, Microstrategy, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Access Additional Preferred Experience
Decisive problem-solver with strong results orientation
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and customer types/levels
Excellent communication, prioritizing and problem-solving skills
Maintain strong cross-functional relationships
